I'm a software developer, Linux and Open Source evangelist. I like innovative technologies. Radio is one of my main interests. I've been operating on 11 m band from 1974 until 1981 (at JM49ge, Sardinia Island which is my homeland), and lately since September 2008, after a very long QRT. KJ4MIU
I got my U.S.A. General Class License in May 2009. My hamradio operator call sign is KJ4MIU. However, I wasn't permitted to operate here in Italy with that license, so I applied for an Italian hamradio operator license.
IZ2UQF
I successfully passed my exam on Dec 10, 2010, I got my Italian hamradio operator license on Jan 31, 2011 and I've been assigned my Italian call sign IZ2UQF on Feb 18, 2011.
